What are the most amazing and beautiful things you can do on a cruise ship?
In this article, I have collected the things I have done on a cruise or heard positive things about. I hope they can be an inspiration to you as well!
1. Movie Under the Stars
Did you know that you can watch your favorite movies in a unique setting on the top deck? Many cruise ships offer large screens for outdoor movie nights. It’s a magical experience that really stays in your heart forever. If your cruise organizes it, make sure you don’t miss it!
2. Dinner at a Special Restaurants
Cruise ships boast an array of specialty restaurants offering everything from gourmet French cuisine to authentic Japanese sushi. The attention to detail in the food and ambiance creates a memorable experience. If you want to spend a different lunch or dinner, you could choose the restaurant that prepares your favorite cuisine!
3. Watch Broadway-Style Shows
Virtually all cruises have theatrical performances. On some ships, they are better than others, but generally, they are always of good quality. You can check the schedule in advance; if you like the upcoming show, you might go see it.
4. Dance Classes
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned dancer, you can enjoy various dance classes on board. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to dance, many of the people are beginners and attend classes mainly for fun.
5. Spa Treatments
Take care of yourself with a spa treatment. You can choose a massage, a beauty mask, or a body treatment.
6. Formula 1 Similator
Are you passionate about cars? I am sure you will love the Formula 1 simulator.
I tried it on MSC Seaside, which is considered one of the best ships of MSC Cruises.

Unfortunately, I have to say it was not my thing…my fear of heights made even children laugh!

Did you know that on some cruise ships, there is a capsule that extends into the sky? It was introduced on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum-class ships, but I have never tried it firsthand. I know it’s free, so I recommend you go there in case there is one on your ship.

One of the things you most often do on a cruise is go to the swimming pool or hot tub. You can swim, relax or simply drink a cocktail by the pool!

On some ships, I saw the giant chess set. I think it’s a great idea because it involves both the players and the people who want to watch the match. I therefore consider it one of the nicest things you can do on a cruise ship.
